Nokia spokesman Mark Squires announced the operators who will sell the new Lumia devices – this will be Vodafone, Orange UK, T-Mobile UK and 3 UK and only two retailers will sell the phones either SIM-free or with a contract – this will be Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
Rumors say that O2 UK had issues with some of Nokia’s terms for the deal. They were too severe for the operator and they were unhappy with the terms of stock levels, marketing campaigns, sales volumes and others. O2’s unhappiness comes days after Simon Lee-Smith stated that Nokia should make more cost-competitive phones if they want to sell well.
If you haven’t heard Nokia announced the prices of their new devices during the Nokia World event and they are the following – The Lumia 800 will retail for €420 before taxes and the 710 will sell for €270.
