Windows Phone Marketplace to come to 22 New Countries

Recently, Microsoft has really struggled to capture people’s interest in the United States and Europe. Probably, that is the reason Microsoft thought of covering more countries to capture more of market-share.

In a recent Press Conference, Microsoft announced that it will be opening local Windows Phone marketplaces in over 22 countries. The countries include: Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam.

As usual, developers of apps will get to choose the marketplaces where they wish to introduce their respective apps.
