ZTE isn’t that known a brand in the Windows ecosystem, but currently they have two Windows Phone handsets: Tania and Orbit. These two devices are up for sale only in the UK and China.
Now, ZTE is also trying to enter the US market. Earlier, Windows phone devices were only restricted to high end handsets, which simply eliminated ZTE from the list as it basically in the budget realm. Now, with the release of Tango, ZTE can also join the Windows Phone network as they have Tango powered ZTE Orbit.
It was in an official press conference called by Lixin Cheng, Head of ZTE’s North American business, where he announced that ZTE will hit the US market with their Windows Phone devices by the end of this year.
