Viber Beta Version Launched for Windows Phones, No Voice Calls, Yet!

Viber Beta Version Launched for Windows Phones, No Voice Calls, Yet!

Finally, Viber has come to Windows Phone platform. Currently, its beta version is available in the Windows Phone Marketplace. Viber is already available in the Apple and Android market. One can enjoy free texting and calling with this app.

But, Viber beta version only allows Windows Phone users free texting and photo sharing. No voice call feature available for them at present. This was a bit startling for many as the company that is well known for allowing free calling through internet has missed out on its key feature in the beta version. This, in turn, makes it no different from many other apps that offer free texting and media file sharing.

Let’s just wait and see how people respond to this.
