Nokia Lumia 900 Camera Test / Review

Here’s a look at the image and video quality that Nokia Lumia 900’s camera offers. To talk about the camera first, Lumia 900 comes with the signature Carl Zeiss lens of Nokia of 8 megapixels. However, one interesting thing to note here is that Lumia 900’s camera quality is much better than the 8-megapixel camera quality offered by N9 or Lumia 800; thanks to the better camera module installed in it.

Video Quality Test
The 8-megapixel rear camera has sensor capability that can capture videos with 720p quality. Note that the video here also highlights the automatic use of the auto darkening/lightening feature. To talk about the front camera, it comes with 1.3 megapixels and the video quality of the same is amazing. We say amazing because if you compare its quality with 1.3 megapixel-front facing cameras of other phones, you’ll probably realize yourself how Lumia 900’s front facing camera stands out.

Image Quality Test
While Lumia 800 also comes with a 8-megapixel camera, there are a few noticeable changes that can seen clearly with Lumia 900. Not just a better and smoother focus (not losing out the focus when too close to the object), Lumia 900’s camera also has a better and more accurate overall color reproduction. In addition, the “white-Balance interference” is also less, giving out a much better image result than that of Lumia 800.
Apart from the normal pictures, we tried clicking low light images also and they were quite decent as well.

The front facing camera’s image quality can’t be said to be too good but not too bad either.
