A survey was taken a couple of days ago by R.W. Braid regarding the 200 mobile developers worldwide, beginning with North America, Europe and ending with China and Asia, which has shown the increased interest of many buyers worldwide towards the future Windows Phone 8. Now, about this survey: it says that an amount of 20% of the customers are already using the Windows Phone 7 and will opt for this platform in the future, while another 71% of the customers are waiting for the Windows Phone 8 platform to come out, because of its amazing features and interesting applications, so this shows a much increased interest for this platform. Also, this means that two-thirds of those who respond to this poll say that the Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 for PC’s are the most exciting and most expected platforms, while only 64% of those are interested only in both Windows 8 and RT for tablets, as they are much more accessible.
Overall, Windows 8 gained interest even in the eyes of the BlackBerry users, as the BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 had a big decline in sales, as they were falling from 4.6 to 3.8 in this first part of he year, while in the second part of the year, it was a much bigger decline: from 3.8 to 2.8 (it must be mentioned that this survey about the Blackberry decline against Nokia’s Windows Phone began in 2010, because of the Nokia’s features and applications).
